The Story of FKTA

The Faculty of Civil Engineering & Technology (FKTA) represents a legacy of growth, transformation, and excellence. Established on 1st September 2022, FKTA emerged from UniMAP’s major restructuring process, integrating expertise from the School of Environmental Engineering and the Faculty of Technology Engineering.

Previously known as the Faculty of Civil Engineering Technology (FTKA), FKTA traces its roots back to January 2006 when it was founded as the School of Environmental Engineering, the 8th engineering school of UniMAP. Initially, the faculty's mission was to address challenges related to electronic and electrical waste generated by industries. Over time, it evolved to meet the growing demands of the civil and environmental engineering sectors, broadening its scope and diversifying its programs.

Today, FKTA is a hub of innovation and education, committed to producing skilled professionals equipped to address modern engineering challenges. The faculty provides comprehensive academic offerings, including:
